Becoming Real, Listening For His Voice & Getting Free

“Sin and forgiveness and falling and getting back up and losing the pearl of great price in the couch cushions but then finding it again, and again, and again? Those are the stumbling steps to becoming Real, the only script that’s really worth following in this world or the one that’s coming. Some may be offended by this ragamuffin memoir, a tale told by quite possibly the repeat of all repeat prodigals. Some might even go so far as to call it ugly. But you see that doesn’t matter, because once you are Real you can’t be ugly except to people who don’t understand…that yes, all is grace. It is enough. And it’s beautiful.” ~ Brennan Manning

Who among us is perfect?

Who among us is beyond forgiveness?

Who among us is above love?

Who among us would rather stay in a state of self-loathing?
God help us –

To move beyond ourselves.

To move beyond what we think we see in the mirror.

To lay prostrate before You in worship-full humility.

Help us to see that’s where our freedom lives.

There & only there.

In surrender to You Who made us –

Formed us – knit us together in Holy wonderment.
Hallelujah Lord. None of us are beyond repair.

Help us not to drown in religiosity.

Rather may we fall into Your Grace, Your Love, Your Mercy.

May we not ignore Your leading-

May we not ignore the still small voice that says

“Don’t forget what I’ve shown you. You heard me right. Don’t excuse away your slavery. Stay obedient & be free.”
Thank you Jesus.

We pray this all in Your Mighty Matchless Name,

May we not forget Your Word in our hearts.

Amen.
Much love y’all & much more trusting His Father’s Hand,
Bonnie
