“There should be a parallel between our supplications and our thanksgivings. We ought not to leap in prayer, and limp in praise.” ~ Charles Haddon Spurgeon
Lord may our praise be the sieve for our prayers.
May our attitude be one of gratitude.
May we see the bounty around us instead of perceived lack.
May we be thankful for what we do have –
And stop fixating on what we don’t.
May we be more whole in our weary & bedraggled souls.
May Your Grace break the chains & Your Truth set us free.
May we know You So. Much. More.
We give Thanksgiving to You Oh God ~
For our breath
For Your Great Love
For the food we eat
The clothes that cover us
The roof that shelters us
The warmth You have so gently placed in our hearts.
May we feel it, recognize it all & embrace it.
In Jesus’ Mighty, Eternal name,
Much love y’all & Happy Thanksgiving!
