A Cry For Sudden Glory

“So we fix our eyes not on what is seen (our circumstances), but on what is unseen (God’s presence). For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal” (2 Corinthians 4:18). One day, it will all make sense. Until then…we trust. And when we have the faith to keep our eyes open during the dark times, God will scatter moments of sudden glory like stars in the inky sky. We hold fast and continue practicing Acts 17:28—even when we aren’t sure where that may lead.” – Girlfriends In God

Please join me in this prayer ~

Lord, send your sudden glory. Heal my shattered heart. Heal the shattered hearts of those I love. Of those who need it right now. Work Your way in us. Show us where You have your finger pressed down & why. Unfurl it with your grace & loving-kindness. We praise you for never, ever condemning us. We praise you for being a Good Father. A Perfect Father. One we can always trust. And I pray we will allow You to cut & stitch & mend & make whole the places that are so, so broken. Bring restoration Lord where it needs to be. Bring truth & light & love to the darkness & confusion & pain.

In Jesus’ mighty precious name I pray,

Amen.
